The program focuses on muscle strength, balance, flexibility and reaction time. After an initial balance assessment, our trained therapists create a program tailored to your level of functioning. It must be signed by the homeowner and the PJ's construction advisor before any payment is released to the contractor. This form is provided by the PJ to the contractor in order to provide written instructions on submitting a complete bid package to the homeowner. This form is completed by the contractor following the completion of work to certify that the work was performed in accordance with the contract and to receive final payment.

Still, it indicates that there may be a positive benefit to home-care physical therapy. Some of the patients in the study had home-care physical therapy followed by outpatient PT, while other patients attended outpatient PT only. The authors of the study found no difference between the two groups when looking at function and range of motion measurements. Having PT at home after knee replacement did not provide significant benefit, but it also did not contribute to a negative outcome. If you do not qualify for home-care PT, you can attend physical therapy at a local outpatient clinic.
